The listing covers the 2.0 TDI common rail engines used in the VW Crafter and Amarok vans and in the Audi Q5 and A4 passenger cars, together with the Skoda and Seat models that share the same engine code. The same Bosch injector is used across these applications, so one part number covers the group.
The part is commonly identified by any of the numbers 0445110647, 0445110369 or the complete assembly 0986435166. If your original injector carries a different number, send a photo of the label before ordering and we will confirm the match.
Every injector is checked on a test bench for opening pressure, back leakage and spray pattern before packing. Units that fail any of these checks are rejected rather than reworked.
The nozzle body is stainless steel and the solenoid and connector are sealed against diesel and engine bay heat. The unit is supplied dry, so prime the fuel system after installation.
Replace the copper washer and the fuel line seals at the same time, clean the injector seat in the cylinder head and torque the clamp bolt to the figure given by the vehicle manufacturer. Never reuse a crushed washer, because a poor seal lets combustion gas past the nozzle and overheats the injector.
On common rail engines the new injector normally has to be coded to the ECU with a diagnostic tool. The coding value is printed on the injector label. Coding is not a repair step that can be skipped: without it the ECU keeps the old correction values and the engine may run rough.
Each injector is packed in its own foam lined box and shipped in neutral outer cartons. Lead time is 3-7 days for stock quantities and longer for larger orders.
Warranty is 6 months against manufacturing defects. The warranty does not cover damage caused by contaminated fuel, water in the fuel system, incorrect coding or a failed high pressure pump sending debris through the injector. Please flush the fuel system if the old injector failed mechanically.
