The piston cooling jet sits under the cylinder bore and sprays a metered jet of engine oil onto the underside of the piston crown. When it blocks, breaks or leaks, piston temperature climbs, oil consumption rises and the piston skirt starts to scuff. This replacement jet restores the original spray pattern.

What it does
